Whether you’re working on a vocabulary list or creatively mind mapping your information, these handy cards can be taken anywhere. Coming in with function and fashion in pastels, brights or white options at an affordable priced point. Giving you a smart and convenient solution that won’t break the bank! Use active recall to stimulate the brain and more efficiently learn. Remember to make your own flashcards instead of someone else’s. One of the most important parts of learning is taking in new information, processing it and translating it in a way you can better understand. This will strengthen your neural passage and allow you to easily remember the information for the next time you need it. A good idea is to mix images and text. This will break the monotony and make them more fun and memorable. Find out more about the picture superiority effect which explains how we remember images better than words. Have someone else quiz you. Reading aloud holds you accountable to complete the answer. Lastly, make great flash cards. Use all the different learning devices like mnemonics and mind maps to maximise your learning efforts.
Butterfly Ruled Paper
With these multi-coloured ruled pages from Butterfly, students can colour code their study notes according to subject or level of understanding. They are punched for easy filing, allowing you to combine notes from other sources all in one place. Use the A4 sized paper to group large amounts of information. Ruled paper is great for taking down notes and keeps your text straight and away from the other lines. It’s also good for reading as the lines are wide and evenly spaced out. You can create large headings and spread out formulas and calculations.
Keep separate folders, binders and books for your notes. This will make it easier to work through them and finding information. You can also use different colour pens and highlighters for writing important terms and to separate chapters. A good tip for writing faster notes is using symbols and abbreviations. When you’re writing a lot of abbreviations, make sure to write them down all in one place, in case you forget them later. Also, remember that you’re writing the notes for yourself so don’t waste time on your spelling unless it’s relevant terminology.
